I'm back for better or worse...

My last final exam was Tuesday. I have been home, basically slipping into the same "I suck at being home" funk I escaped by going to school. Ah, well. January 3rd the new quarter begins.

I have some good news, and some rather disappointing news.

The good news is I finished the quarter with two A's and an A minus. Better than I expected, not as good as I'd wished for. But still pleased with myself. I did make the president's list. What the president uses that list for, I don't know. Maybe it's like Santa's list and I'll get a present for being very, very good.

OK, here's the bad news. I slipped off the wagon. Actually, I took a nose-dive off the wagon and into the smoky hell which is delicious and disgusting at the same time. I love to smoke on occasion, but I cannot just do it on occasion, for I am a serial smoker. Will make a new start sometime in the coming week, don't pressure me.

Now my poor ass is going to make candy for some friends who will invariable buy me overly expensive gifts (yes, they are all employed and have husbands with steady paychecks.) I did buy some nice platters at TJ maxx to put the candy on. It will be fine. I'm sure.

I will post more as december rolls on and probably disappear again mid-january. Mark your calendars.
