I just haven't had it in me to update at all...
It's not for having been busy. It's just that my life is so boring, I can't even start a post without getting sleepy.
But that's gonna change, real quick.
I have been working at pizza hut since the middle of June (though it feels so much longer) and having a little extra income and seeing how much more we really need, I came to the conclusion that I had to get a job, stat. So school is probably on hold, because the perfect job for me came up suddenly, and suprisingly they recognized this. I start tomorrow (Monday) and it pays about nine thousand more a year than my last full-time gig. I will be running the local a floorcovering installation business. I used to do Design Consulting in a flooring store, but I managed all my own installations and I'm pretty knowledgable about it, so hopefully it's not too far out of my depth.
Is it my dream job? No. But lately my dreams are more about paying the power bill and maybe someday being able to afford some plastic surgery.
I am going to focus on working now, and since they are pretty hardcore about not using company computers to access the net, I don't know if I will be able to post any more than I have been (READ: NOT AT ALL) but I always read my email, so fire away. I'll try and update after my first day at work.
Good night.

I came here to officially vote your blog title the best ever. Then I saw Phlegm Sisters and had to rethink. And then I was distracted by the hilarious (and eerily familiar) "about me" paragraph.
Something tells me I'll be back to follow up on this crossroads of your life.
Congratulations on the job! I hope all will go well for you. Anytime we make a change in our life it causes us to rethink EVERYTHING. Don't make any hasty judgements, but do what your heart says is right.
Best wishes! Swing by my blog, I've got a lot going on right now too!
Good Luck on your first day!!! I'm about 138% sure it isn't out of your depth.
Yeah, there is something about earning a decent living that makes a woman's opinion of her man change. If he is a good man the woman thinks, "Oh baby, now that I help pay the bills we can take more vacations alone together." If he is a porn looking name caller it tends to change to, "Oh baby, I can afford to go on vacations by myself." (If you have made up with the ol man, I am sorry I refered to him as a porn looking name caller. Ha ha. I didn't mean it. If you didn't make up with the ol' man--what the hell?)
And, congrats on your new job. I foresee financial freedom in your future, and doesn't that sound lovely?
